Penny Stocks - Top Penny Stocks

Penny Stocks - Penny Stocks are low cost stocks that usually trade below $2 per share.  Penny Stocks are penny stocks for a reason, there is usually something wrong with the company.  Penny Stocks are traded on the NASDAQ, NYSE, AMEX, Pink Sheets, and OTC exchange.  A lot of penny stocks are volatile and high risk because again, there is something wrong with the company or there is some kind of fraud or scam going on.  It's very rare to find a good penny stock to invest in but every once and awhile a few come along.

Penny Stocks traded on the NASDAQ, NYSE, and AMEX are much better than Pink Sheets and OTC penny stocks.  Penny Stocks traded on the OTC and Pinks Sheets are not very regulated thus they don't have the same reporting requirements as NASDAQ, NYSE, or AMEX.  There have been so many scams with pink sheets and OTC penny stocks that I stopped trading them years ago.  You are basically gambling because they are easy to manipulate and the companies are usually in really bad shape.  Also, they are subject to pump and dump schemes which could wipe out your whole portfolio.  Penny Stocks traded on the NASDAQ, NYSE, and AMEX are required to release quarterly earnings reports which at least give investors some kind of transparency.

Trading Penny Stocks - When I trade penny stocks, they are listed on the NASDAQ, NYSE, or AMEX as I mentioned above.  I look for good news which is driving up the price on heavy volume in pre market and then buy on the first dip right after the open.  When the stock rebounds, I sell into the rally.  If I buy a penny stock that has good news in after hours trading, I will either sell into a rally or hold overnight and sell into a pre market pop.  When trading penny stocks, always play it safe and take profits or cut losses fast.

Penny Stock Gainers 2018 - If you are looking for hot penny stocks in 2018, it's best to watch my daily trading page because these penny stocks are moving right now.  While this list is constantly changing, you can keep up with the hottest penny stocks right now and figure out what is causing the big movement.  This list is also a great way to find potential day trades.  I try to update every day after the close so stay tuned and also check out my stocks to watch page for breaking penny stock and regular stock news.

Penny Stocks to Buy - Check out my penny stocks to buy page for my latest penny stock picks ytd.  Right now I like PULM, GRPN, and ITUS but I need to update this list because ISR already shot to the moon and SD is dropping due to oil prices.  I still like IsoRay, Inc. (ISR) as a speculative buy now that shares tanked below $1.  Another idea I have is pretending Tesla (TSLA) trades at $0.33 instead of $330.  I beleive in 15 years, TSLA will be worth $4000 per share or $4.00 in penny stock land.

Top Penny Stocks 2018 - Check out more of my penny stock picks for 2018.  Here I mention a lot of the same penny stocks but add a few more.
